Mir issued instructions to the officers to attend people’s problems on priority


m (1)Tangmarg,Saleem Yousuf,24 August,CNS:Underlining the significance of holistic development of rural areas, Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir has said that present Government during the past over five and half years has focused on upgrading the existing infrastructural facilities to ensure better services to the people.

         According to CNS addressing a huge public meetings at Mirpora and Panditpora in Tangmarg,  Mir asked the people to join hands with the administration to avail the benefits of various welfare schemes launched by the Government. He said massive development has taken place in the rural areas in all essential sectors and people themselves have acknowledged the change on ground. He said Government prioritized upgradation of road network, drinking water facilities, education, health and employment in rural areas which are key to the welfare of people.

          Maintaining that peace is imperative for all round development, Mr. Mir asked the people to maintain peace at all costs to ensure implementation of various Centrally Sponsored schemes on ground. He said several developmental projects have been undertaken by the Government for the benefits of the people in Mirpora and Panditpora villages, adding that on completion these projects will go a long way in upgrading the socio-economic conditions of the people. He said Government has formulated a well-knit strategy to mitigate the problems of the people in rural and far-flung areas.

          Several deputations of people met the Minister and put forth problems confronted to their areas. He assured to address the problems on priority.

          On the occasion, the Minister issued instructions to the officers of various departments to attend people’s problems on priority. He also directed them to speed up the pace of work on under construction project for their speedy completion. (CNS)
