Baramulla,February 4,2017 CNS: A batch of children set off to a journey outside the Valley as a group of twenty students from Baramula were flagged off on Saturday from Uplona Army Camp on 'DAURA-E-KHWAJA', an eleven days tour to Jaipur and Ajmer which aims at affording these aspiring children an opportunity to experience the diversity, pluralism and the rich cultural heritage of the country. .
Accompanied by one teacher and five organising staff, the students will visit places like Jaigarh Fort, Moti Doongri, Nahargarh Fort, Birla Mandir, Jantar Mantar, Amber Fort, City Palace and Hawa Mahal at Jaipur. In Ajmer, they will visit Dargah Sharif, Sola Khamba, Shah Jahan Mosque, Ana Sagar Lake and Adhai Din ka Jhopra.
The gathering at the send off ceremony which included, besides the family members of the children, eminent personalities from the area Mr Shoib Lone, SMLC, Sangrama and Mr Syed Nisar Geelani, State President Kisan Mazdoor Party J&K, wished the boys luck and encouraged them to optimise on this life time experience.
