Srinagar,12 February 2017-CNS:-All Parties Huriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani paid glorious tributes to slain mujahedeen of Redwani Kulgam and said these youths are sacrificing their precious lives for a sacred cause. It is a cherished and patriotic mission, said Syed Ali Geelani and these youths are putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders. We are duty bound to carry their mission to its logical end.
Syed Ali Geelani said that people of state are not war mongers, but through peaceful means urging India and world community to fulfill their pledge & resolve the political future of state. Blaming India for its stubbornness & egoistic approach, Syed Ali Geelani said that that precious lives are being lost and forced occupation is the root cause of all bloodshed in state.
Syed Ali Geelani while referring to increasing incidents of encounters, said that few black sheep in our folds are instrumental in providing information, thus helping forces in killing our youth. They should note it that they must furnish explanation for their deeds in front of Almighty Allah.
Meanwhile on the directions of Huriyat chairman, a deputation comprising of Raja Meraj Din, Bashir Ahmad Faroqi, Syed Zahoor ul Haq and Umar Aadil Dar participated in funeral prayers of Kulgam martyrs and paid their rich tributes.
Pro-freedom Leader in his statement said those who strive for a scared cause, never die however achieve an eternal life and find place in history. They are sacrificing their lives for our future and their sacrifices won’t go waste or unnoticed, said he. Pro-freedom leader said that people of state pursued their mission peacefully for forty years for right to self-determination, however India turned its deaf ear to the screams and genuine voices raised in this regard. India with its military might is pushing youth to wall and it is the reason that youth are daring to challenge occupant forces and while laying their lives are writing new annals of history.
While referring to Indian rulers for their blame game against Pakistan, Syed Ali Geelani said it is ridiculous, ours is an indigenous movement, we have nothing to do with extremism and people in Jammu & Kashmir are striving for their right to self-determination. While referring to those youths resenting Indian hegemony, Syed Ali Geelani said that most of these have never crossed border.
Huriyat Chairman urged Indian authorities to desist from their rigid and stubborn approach. He asked Indian authorities to stop from creating hurdles and urged to resolve Kashmir issue through peaceful means. It will prove a positive step for India as well as people of Jammu & Kashmir.
