Srinagar,February 15,2017 CNS: State Congress party Wednesday lashed out at State Government for the ‘shortage of essentials’ in the entire Valley. The party also blamed the Government for making the Aadhhar mandatory for the consumes to get the ration, while according to the party 50 percent population are without Aadhaar Cards.
Accusing the Government for failing to ensure essentials to people, Congress Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi said that government is making tall claims with regard to availability of essentials, while as, there is an acute shortage of the essentials one the ground.
He said one fails to understand why govt is releasing false statements on this count without seeking report from the Administration below; it seems there is a wide gap between the administration and civil Secretariat.
He said government has taken the decision to make the Aadhaar card mandatory for the consumers to get the ration, but fifty percent population of the valley are without Aadhaar Cards, how come it is possible for them to link their rations cards with Aadhaar number, the fact remains, Govt has miserably failed to provide Aadhaar Cars to people, which is not only unfortunate, but highly condemnable and questionable.
Farooq Andrabi urged upon the Government to ensure availability of essentials in the valley, besides that Correct Adhhar Cards must be issued to people without going from office to office. (CNS)
