Police public meetings held in South Kashmir


Anantnag,February 23,2017 CNS:  In its efforts to strengthen the police public relations,  a police public meeting was organized at Police station Saddar in District Anantnag today.

The meeting was chaired by SSP Anantnag Zubair Ahmad Khan and attended by a huge gathering of people including representatives of organisations  including Auqaf committee Anantnag and  trade union presidents besides  senior citizens and  civil societies members.

During the meeting various issues relating to drug addiction,  traffic management and other issues of public interest were discussed.

SSP Anantnag while speaking on the occasion sought public support in dealing with the criminal activities in the district and added that such meeting are organized to solicit the suggestion and support for the better policing.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, SSP assured them that police department will provide all possible help as and when required for redressal of these issues.

At the conclusion of the meeting, SSP thanked the participants for valuable feedback for the better policing.

     Meanwhile SSP Awantipora Mohammad Zahid  also chaired a police public meeting at Police station Awantipora.

The respectable citizens of Awantipora and neighbouring villages participated in the meeting. The participants while interacting with the senior officers highlighted various issues of public interest.

SSP Awantipora assured the participants that police will put its all efforts and resources in place in addressing the issues highlighted by them.

Referring to the issues like drug addiction and other criminal activities in the area SSP stressed on public support for effective results. (CNS)
