Bhaderwah, Aug 12, 2017- CNS:- On the directions of conservator of forest (CF) Chinab circle Tej Bhadur Singh, forest officials have started drive against naturally grown cannabis ( Bung) plants in Bhaderwah valley in Jammu and Kashmir. The 1985 Narcotics Act makes the herb illegal to cultivate or consume for general purposes. Much of the high-quality cannabis products available come from this small region. The most coveted product is Ittar, a local name, which is easily available with small drug peddlers in Chinab region despite Government ban.(CNS)
