LeT accuses police of implicating Kulgam duo in false militancy case

Srinagar, Oct 17, CNS: A day after police said that they apprehended two militants from Soput Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, the militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba on Tuesday claimed the duo has no connection with any militant outfit and they are innocent.

As per a statement to news agency CNS, Mehmood Shah, the LeT Chief while condemning the arrest of duo said that

that they have no ties whatsoever with Lashkar-e-Taiba or any related faction.

“One of the arrested youth is Khurshid Ahmed Dar who is suffering from Cancer while rendering him as a terrorist is a mere act of injustice and a drama staged for winning cheap popularity,” Shah said and castigated police for being totally unethical.

“We warn police to abstain from such irresponsible, disgraceful and sick acts otherwise the consequences will be met soon,” he said. (CNS)
