Poonch, Oct 18, CNS: A civilian sustained injuries and three cars were damaged as Pakistan army opened heavy fire and shot mortars on Indian posts and forward villages along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning.

A police officer at Poonch Police control room identified the injured civilian as Mohammed Ayyaz Ahmed, son of Mohammed Saddam Khan of Darati village. He has been shifted to a primary health center at Dhargloon.

An unconfirmed report, however, put the number of injured civilians to seven, including three labourers.

The labourers, it said, were working at Sandote Basooni when they suffered minor injuries in Pakistan shelling in Bhimber Gali (BG) sector that runs along Poonch and Rajouri districts of the restive state.
