Internet services suspended after the killing of two militants in North Kashmir

Handwara:Nov 13,CNS:  At least two militants were killed in a brief encounter with Government Forces in North Kashmir’s Handwara town.

Authorities have suspended internet services following the killings of two militants. Reports said that people are on roads chanting pro freedom slogans.

A police official said that militants were killed in Rajwar area of the Handwara town.

The slain militants were identified as Ashiq Ahmad Bhat of Palhalan Pattan and Toib Majeed Mir of Brath Kalan Sopore. Hundreds of people have gathered in Brath Kalan to receive Mir’s body.

Reports said that protests erupted in Palhalan as the news of death of Bhat reached there.
