Pulwama, Dec 7, CNS: A delegation from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district Thursday appealed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jammu Kashmir Bank to get the incumbent Branch Manager at Main Chowk Pulwama transferred ‘in the interest of customers’.
They said customers are fed up with the ‘arrogant’ and ‘insolent’ behavior of the present Branch Manager.
“The Branch Manager rarely comes to Bank due to personal engagements. And when he comes, he not only ‘rebukes’ the customers who approach him for different matters but also ‘advise’ them to close their accounts and get new accounts opened at some other Bank,” the delegation led by one Muhammad Akbar told news agency CNS.
The delegation said they don’t have any personal animosity with the said Bank Manager. “Top Bank officials can visit the Bank to get feedback from the esteemed customers and accordingly they can act after knowing the truth,” they said.
When contacted a Jammu Kashmir Bank official said that matter will taken up with the higher ups and accordingly a decision in this regard will be taken. (CNS)
