Srinagar,06 January,2018.The medical cases are on the rise in Valley due to the onset of chilling winters and harsh weather conditions. Taking cognizance of the difficulties being faced by locals, the Army organised Medical Camps to cover villages of Bijbehara and Baramulla.
The Medical Camp at Bijbehara provided healthcare services to 120 patients suffering from communicable diseases, skin & water borne disease and cold injuries. Remote villages took max advantage of this noble endeavour. The Medical Camp organised by the Army at UPHC in Bagh E Islam area attracted a huge number of locals, especially ladies, from Old Town to avail the medical facilities. Lady Medical Officers along with the Medical Team attended to the patients and free medicines were also distributed to the needy people. Locals were very happy and expressed their gratitude to the Army for organising the Medical Camp and welcomed this gesture with open hearts.
