Srinagar, April 08-CNS:-
All the educational institutes except primary and Middle schools (upto Class 8th) will remain shut for fourth consecutive day in Srinagar and Shopian districts.
While majority of the institutions will remain closed on Monday there are some places where they will function normally.
Except Sopore, colleges and Higher secondaries will remain open. All the colleges and higher secondaries will remain suspended in Sopore sub-district.
Anantnag and Bandipora districts have decided to run educational institutes normally.
Barring Handwara, Kupwara district has also decided to go with normal class work.
Except main town Pulwama, schools and colleges will remain open in Pulwama district.
All higher secondary schools and colleges falling within Chadoora, Charar-e-Sharief, Beerwah and Budgam municipal limits will remain closed tomorrow while other institutions in the rest of the areas of the district will function normally tomorrow.
Ganderbal district admin has decided to keep schools and colleges open.
Pertinently, school and colleges have been kept closed after massive protests were staged on Thursday against the Shopian killings in colleges and schools. (CNS)
