Youth injured after Army allegedly open fire on protesters in Budgam

Budgam, May 11, CNS: A youth was injured after army allegedly opened fire on protesters in Soibugh area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

    Reports said that clashes erupted after Friday prayers at Soibugh. Reports added that youth who were protesting against civilian killings pelted stones on the deployed Forces personnel.

      Eyewitnesses said that Army opened fire resulting in the injuries of a youth who has been identified as Adil Farooq Mir, a resident of Galwnpora Safdan.

A doctor at JVC Hospital confirmed that they received an injured who has suffered a bullet in his hip.

  Reports said that massive clashes erupted after the incident. Forces lobbed tear-smoke shells to disperse the protesters.
