Srinagar, May 21,CNS: PCPG meeting was held at police station Lalbazar today. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police station Lalbazar convened a public interaction meeting in which good number of respectable citizens of Umar Colony Lalbazar area participated.

The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Lalbazar Inspector Shri G P Singh. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating menace of drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration. Participants appreciated the role of police in curbing the crimes in the area.

SHO Lalbazar stressed upon participants to keep watch on the activities of their young wards so that they don’t indulge in stone pelting & other related anti-national & antisocial activities.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Lalbazar assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also requested them to keep cooperating with police as in the past so the peaceful atmosphere in the area is maintained
