Bandipora: Future Vision Public Secondary School under the management of Bandipora College of Information Technology, organized a day long Seerat conference here in Bandipora which was attended by participants from different walks of life.
The speakers threw light on teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and reiterated that the teachings were a guide for the whole humanity towards righteousness and universal brotherhood.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora Ms Hameeda Akhter was the chief guest. Among others who participated were Ghulam Muhammad Lone Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Manager J&K Bank (TP) Bandipora Muhammad Shafi, PA to Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Maqbool Shamim, NiC Incharge Bandipora Mohsin Mujtaba and other dignitaries. Seerat conference was over all organized by its chairman Fayaz Ahmad Ganie. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the audience followed by Tilawat-e-Quran (recitation of Quran) after which the competition commenced.
The speakers spoke on the pious life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and stressed upon the importance of peace and communal harmony.“The speakers also stressed upon the point to follow the foot prints of Holy Prophet (SAW) and to acquire knowledge of various religions as every religion teaches peace and harmony among masses.ACR Bandipora and Dy CEO Bandipora distributed prizes among the participants and also encouraged the students.(CNS)
