Wreath laying ceremony for slain policeman held at DPL Srinagar

Srinagar, June 22, CNS: To pay homage to the slain Head Constable Habib-ul-lah, who was killed in the wee hours after he was injured in a militant attack at KaranNagar days ago, a wreath laying ceremony was held on Friday at District Police Lines Srinagar.
Civil & Police Officers led by Director General of Police S.P Vaid laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the slain cop.
Among others who paid floral tributes include ADGP Armed AK Choudhary, Director Vigilance SJM Geelani, IGP Kashmir S.P Pani, DIG CKR V.K Birdi, DIG BSF Ops Harilal, DC Srinagar, SSP Srinagar and other senior officers and jawans.
Habib-ul-lah the lone bread earner of his family, is survived by three daughters Riffat Ara, aged 21 years whose marriage was scheduled next week, Insha student of 10th class, Rubeena student of 6th class, two sons Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din about 22 years old and Kaiser Ahmad Lone about 26 years old besides wife and aged parents.
