Two soldiers wounded in Shopian militant attack

Srinagar: At leaset 2 army soldiers have been reportedly injured after militants attacked their patrol party in Ahagam area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Reports said that militants first lobbed a grenade and then fired upon the army patrol party.

Official sources said that 2 soldiers from 44 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army suffered injuries in the attack. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to nab militants.

The attack was carried out near Army Goodwill School.
