Srinagar, July 16, CNS: The leaders and activists of Janta Dal (United) JD (U) led by its State President G M Shaheen, Monday visited Pahalgam Amarnath Yatra Base Camp to take stock of arrangement Amarnath pilgrimage being provided by state administration and interacted with a large number of Amarnath pilgrims enroute Pahalgam.
“The Yatris appreciated the government for quality arrangements especially healthcare system and other basic facility being set up by the state administration and moreover they hailed the role of common people for being so supportive.”
Shaheen said that during his interaction, the Yatris denounced the role of national media and lamented they are projecting Kashmir in a bad way.
“Some Yatris complained that they are being denied entry into base camp after 9pm and its adds to their hardships,” Shaheen said and appealed Governor administration to look into the problems being faced by these Yatris. (CNS)
