Trooper injured in Srinagar militant attack

Srinagar, July 24, CNS: A trooper was injured after suspected militants opened fire near Fire and Emergency Service office here in Batamaloo area of Srinagar city.

Reports said that a group of militants fired upon a CRPF patrolling party that according to police resulted in the injuries of a trooper who according to reports was shifted to hospital.

A police official while confirming the incident that area has been cordoned off and a hunt has been launched to nab the militants.
