Job aspirants in State Sport Council appeal Governor

Srinagar, July 26, CNS: The job aspirants who have applied for the various posts in Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Thursday appealed Governor NN Vohra for the early announcement of results.

A delegation of aspirants said that State Sports Council had advertized posts in August 2016 for Junior Coach, Assistant Store Keeper and Ground Man in charge. “Interviews have been conducted but results not declared so far,” they said.

The aspirants said that it has been a year and still no results have been declared. Many among us are on the verge of getting over-aged.

They said that after 1998, the recruitment of coaches on a permanent basis was done by the sports body on a small scale in 2005 and 2013 and since then no permanent coaches have been appointed.

“We appeal Governor to look into the matter and play a role in the process of speedy recruitment.” (CNS)
