Anti-encroachment drive held in Tral villages



TRAL : A massive anti-encroachment drive was held in Tral areas during which trees planted on 41 kanals of state land under survey no 955 were cut down by authorities from the encroachers.

The drive was led by Naib Tehsildar Dadasara zone in Tral sub district, Bashir Ahmad Lone, and other staff members of the department.

The team inspected Amlar and Hari areas of Tral where they cut down and uprooted all the trees and removed the barbed wire fencing and retrieved encroached land.

Naib Tehsildar Bashir Ahmad has said that drive was launched on the pursuance of government orders and on the directions of Deputy commissioner Pulwama, with the aim to spare land from illegal occupation of some inconsiderate people.

He further said that people should not occupy state lands anywhere and has appealed all the encroachers to free up all the land if encroached anywhere.
