Clerical cadre thanks Governor and his Advisors

Srinagar, Aug 2, CNS: Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Associaion Thursday thanked Governor led State Administrative Council for accepting the report of the designated Committee to remove pay anomaly of clerical cadre, who have been agitating for the same for more than a decade.

Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Associaion president Ali Muhammd Mir and General Secretary Jeelani Naik while addressing a press conference here in Srinagar expressed deep gratitude towards  Governor  N.N.Vohra espically his Advisor B B Vyas for the great concern towards the employees of the State in general and for deprived clerical cadre in particular.

They also congratulated the whole Clerical Cadre for their struggle based on dedication and consistency and also thanked the whole all Distrcit Presidents and forwarded deep hearted congratulations to them on this hisrotical win.

The decision is expected to benefit the clerical cadre comprising around 25000 employees across the state.

In terms of the decision, junior assistants, Key Punch Operators (Planning), Assistant Compilers (GP Fund) presently in Level-2 will now draw pay in Level-4 with effect from  May 1.

Steno Typists, Compilers (GP Fund), Senior Assistants and Junior Statistical Assistants presently in Level-4 will now draw pay in Level-5 with effect from  May 1.

Also, Head Assistants, Statistical Assistants, Junior Scale Stenographers, Junior Legal Assistants (Law) and Senior Compilers (GP Fund) presently in Level-6 will now draw pay in Level-6B with effect from May 1
