Gunmen abducted shopkeeper from Sopore

Sorpore, Oct 3, CNS: Armed masked men on Wednesday abducted a trader in North Kashmir’s Sopore town of Baramulla district.

Reports said that masked gunmen barged inside the shop of Tawseef Ahmad Ganie at Younisa area of Sopore town and forcibly abducted him on gun point.

The incident created panic in the area while police said that it launched a manhunt to trace the abducted shopkeeper.

Pertinently on Sep 24 last month the body of a local man Mushtaq Ahmed Mir of Sopore was recovered from an orchard. Mir had also been abducted by unknown gunmen. (CNS)
