Srinagar, Nov 3, CNS: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah Saturday expressed concern over the joining of Srinagar youth in militant ranks saying that the path chosen by Aithisham is destructive.

The photographs of Aithisham, a resident of Khanyar Srinagar went viral on social media while in a purported audio message, he has shown his allegiance with militant ranks. Aithisham was a student of Shardah University wherefrom he went missing after he was allegedly assaulted by a group of unknown persons.

“If this is genuine it’s hugely worrying. Sometimes seemingly small actions have huge consequences. If what happened to him at #ShardaUniversity has lead him to choose such a destructive path it’s even more tragic. One more life on the path to ruin & one more family in turmoil,” Omar Abdullah tweeted.
