Bandipora, Nov 7, CNS: District Development Commissioner Bandipora has released the funds for setting up of a water scheme supply for the three villages of the district that have been facing acute shortage of drinking water.
The district administration released the funds worth Rs 36 lakhs vide order number 529DDC-BPR of 2018 after the local MLC Yasir Reshi intervened into the matter. Reshi had asked the administration to release the funds so that inhabitants of these three villages don’t face scarcity of water.
The affected villages are Chek Sadarkoot, Chek Chandergeer and Sadarkoot Bala that fall in Sonawari constituency of Bandipora here in North Kashmir.
Locals while hailing the role of MLC Yasir Reshi thanked DDC Bandipora for setting up the new water supply scheme. (CNS)
