JD (U) asks Govt to resolve Anganwari workers problems

Srinagar, Mar 31, CNS: Urging upon Government to address all the grievances of the protesting Anganwari workers, Janata Dal United State president GM Shaheen Saturday visited Pratap Park and expressed solidarity with those protesting female workers.

Anganwari workers have been protesting from past one month seeking regularization and enhancement of their honorarium.

GM Shaheen interacted with these workers and expressed disappointment over the callous attitude of the government.

While talking to reporters, Shaheen said that if government is unable to address their issues then it should surrender and Governors Rule should be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir.

“It is irony that from past one month our mothers and sisters are on roads and government is doing nothing to address their problems,” she said adding that attitude of government shows that it is not pro-people. (CNS)
