After Mir’s resignation PDP workers flock at the residence of Yaseen Bhat

Chadoora, Jan 6, CNS: A day after Javaid Mustafa Mir resigned from the People’s Democratic Party, a large number of people from Chadoora constituency flocked at the residence of known businessman Muhammad Yaseen Bhat urging upon him to contest upcoming Assembly Elections from the Constituency.

CNS Reporter from Chadoora informed that a large number of people mostly PDP workers from Chadoora and its adjoining area including Dulatpora, Hasipora, Kaisarmulla, Wathoora, Batapora, Pahroo, Kanihama and Kralpora visited the residence of Muhammad Yaseen Bhat at Hanjigund and requested him to contest upcoming Assembly Elections.

Pertinently, Javaid Mustafa Mir resigned from the party after CNS filed a news report that PDP is mulling is to introduce a new face in the upcoming Assembly Elections for Chadoora Constituency. Muhammad Yaseen Bhat who is a renowned businessman comes from a well-to-do family.

Reports said that as the news about the resignation of Javaid Mustafa Mir spread in the constituency, majority of the PDP workers contacted Bhat and assured him of their support.

Despite repeated attempts, Bhat was couldn’t be contacted, however, a top PDP leader said that Bhat may join the party in coming days.
