Budgam,Jan 6 CNS:14 Year old Anisa and Faisal from Mazhama Budgam won gold medal at ISKU Karate international championship Gujrat.
14 Year old Anisa and Faisal from central Kashmir’s Budgam District at ISKU Karate Championship, being held at Ahemadabad Gujrat. They clinched the gold after defeating his Sri Lankan opponent in final. “ I am happy to win this medal. I had been practicing for this since one year, it was difficult, but I still won the fight,” a delighted Faisal said news agency after his achievement. His coach also expressed his happiness after the win. “ It is a huge thing to win this championship as there are not much resources for s[ports in Kashmir; Faisal faced a lot of hurdles to reach here,” he said
Another young from Mazhama won gold medal at ISKU Championship at Gujrat. Her coach Tajamul Khan while talking with media said that Anisa won gold medal. “This is incredible moment for me and my family and I hope I will achieve more feats in the future,” says Anisa
Anisa belongs to a poor family. However, her mother is hopeful that her Daughter will one day would become an international athlete. “Being a mother, it is a cheerful experience in my life as her daughter achieved the success at international level.
We found spark in her eyes about Karate and then we started tuition training for her at Dynamic training Club, she added. Anisa was passionate & dreaming about winning medals from beginning, and was always playing karate whenever she foiund herself free. We didn’t restrict her since we know that she becomes a karate champion. We feel proud and distribute sweets to our relatives when we heard that Anisa and Faisal defeated their contender of Iraq and Sri Lanka and won gold medal said father of Anisa and Faisal.
We feel proud after winning the medals at international level. We thank to almighty Allah and dedicated our success to family and our trainers.
“Anisa is belongs from poor family, and i work for my children’s as shawl worker and I appeal to higher authorities and DC Budgam to support our children’s and give equipment so that more student could come forward to show their talent in this field”. Her father added
