Tral, Mar 6, CNS: Southern town of Tral in Pulwama district Tuesday observed a shutdown for the second consecutive day against the killing of two militants.
Reports said that all the shops and business establishments remained shut while transport also remained off the roads.
Two local militants Adfar Fayaz alias Abu Zararof Gulshanpora and Irfan Ahmed Rather alias Abu Talib from Sharifabad were killed in a gunfight at Reshipora Tral on Monday. A civilian Farooq Ahmed had also sustained bullet injuries in Forces action.
A police official said that situation in the town remained peaceful thorough out the day. (CNS)
