17 injured in different road accidents

Road-AccidentSrinagar, March 14,CNS: Seventeen persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley.

A Tata-407 bearing registration number JK03/2721 turned turtle near Cheyan Crossing in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar, Kulgam resulting in injuries to 08 passengers. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital, Kulgam for treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.

Meanwhile, a bus bearing registration number JK01Y/0423 hit and injured a pedestrian Nisar Ahmad Lone resident of Vessu at Levdoora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qazigund, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to Qazigund Hospital for treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK18/3905 and a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK13B/5999 collided at Halmulla in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara, Anantnag. In this accident three persons Hajra, Bilqeesa and driver Riyaz Ahmad all residents of Gasren, Kulgam got injured. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.

A Sumo bearing registration number JK13/4836 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Sultan Khan son of Raja Khan resident of Branpathri, Tral at Bus stand Tral, Awantipora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.

A Toyota car bearing registration number HR62Y/5833 hit an auto rickshaw at Bohri Kadal Chowk, in the jurisdiction of Police Station M.R Gunj, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to the auto driver Abdul Hamid Matoo resident of Bohri Kadal, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.

A Ruby vehicle bearing registration number JK01P/3856 driven by Ajeet Singh and a Trawler bearing registration number JK02AT/275 collided at Lethpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Awantipora, resulting in injuries to three persons Ajeet Singh, Gulzar Ahmad and Ghulam Mohammad. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
