Chief Minister condoles Ali Muhammad Naik’s demise

Srinagar, Apr 22, CNS: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the demise of veteran politician, former Minister and Speaker of Legislative Assembly, Ali Muhammad Naik who breathed his last yesterday evening.
Recalling the contribution of Mr. Naik in the social and political awakening of the people, Mehbooba Mufti said the void created by the death of late leader would be difficult to fill. "Throughout his life Naik sahib worked selflessly for the welfare of his people and we need to emulate this spirit”, the Chief Minister said.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul. She has also extended her condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Naik.
