India Spank Pakistan: Hockey 2017

India demolished the hapless Pakistan in hockey 2017 by 7-1 in the semifinal in world hockey league. It was a complete, convincing, commanding and most entertaining performance by Indians who dominated their arch rival team Pakistan throughout the match and zoomed to the top of Pool B. Pakistan on the other hand as usual drowned to the bottom of its pools of miseries (Pool B) .
On the contrary it was Pakistan who made a bright start but their dominance lasted only for 10 minutes. The 7-1 was also India’s biggest win over Pakistan. Earlier India had beaten Pakistan 7-4 on two occasion, first in champions Trophy in 2003 and then at Commonwealth Games 2010.
Pakistan did not look the team that lost 7-1 in the end as they were the attackers in the first quarter. They even got the first penalty corner of the match but the drag flick went over the bar. India then turned the table and took control.
It was India’s breath-taking show, memorable show and a great win.
