Avalanche warning in avalanche prone areas of Kashmir Division

SRINAGAR, 19 Feb 2015 ,CNS:-As per communication of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, medium danger of avalanche warning exists from February 19 to February 20, 2015 in avalanche prone areas of Bandipora, Kupwara and Kargil districts of Kashmir Division.
          In view of the above, the Deputy Commissioners of Bandipora, Kupwara, Baramulla and Kargil are asked to advise people not to venture out in avalanche prone areas.
          People of these areas are also advised to temporarily evacuate those locations which are under the fall line of avalanches.
