Mandatory for Patwaris to remain present in Halqa on Monday and Thursday

Srinagar, May 28, CNS: The Jammu and Kashmir Government Saturday said that it has been made mandatory for Patwaris to remain present in their respective Patwar Halqas on every Monday and Thuesday for attending to the general public and redressal of their genuine grievances.

    In response to a query raised by a Bhartiya Janata Party legislator Krishan Lal, the Government informed the Legislative Assembly that all the Deputy Commissioners have been made responsible to personally supervise and monitor the implementation of the these instructions directly. “The authorities have been asked not to fix any meeting or call them to their offices on Monday and Thursday,” the government said.
