Pakistan, its people, journalistic and literary fraternity, political, social, religious organizations and those Pakistanis and Kashmiris living in other parts of the world is encouraging and we express gratitude to them for exhibiting solidarity with their oppressed Kashmiri brethren on this day,” Shah in a statement issued to press on Sunday said. its people towards Kashmiri resistance movement is ‘noteworthy and magnanimous’. Applauding the role played by Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif with regards to Kashmir issue, Shah said the celebration of this day by Pakistan highlighted the Kashmir dispute at international forums. In his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Shah said the celebration of this day is aimed at spreading and highlighting the plight of oppressed Kashmiris in every nook and corner of the world. “And in this regard, the role played by Pakistanis and Kashmiris residing in different parts of the globe is commendable as they celebrate this day with zeal and vigor,” he said. HCJK leader and DFP Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah expressed deep appreciation to all political parties and other organizations of Pakistan for their unflinching support to Kashmir cause. “Kashmiri nation is committed and unified in their demand of birth right to self-determination from forcible occupation of India and we hope the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to us in our struggle for freedom,” Shah added.
