Pakistan’s political and diplomatic support for the Kashmir cause as extremely important:APHC

APHC-logo1Srinagar,04 February 2015-CNS:- Senior hurriyat leader and former APHC Chairman, Professor Abdul Gani  Bhat today conducted the executive council members meeting at conglomerates headquarter. Besides Professor Bhat, the meeting was attended by executive members  Musadiq Adil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, representatives of Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq,Bilal Gani Lone and Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosivi Al Safvi ,namely GN Zaki,Khaleel Mohammad  Khaleel and GN Nagoo respectively .The participants discussed the ongoing political situation, organizational matters, Celebration of Pakistan’s Kashmir Solidarity day on Feb 5 to express solidarity with Kashmiris and contradicting geo-political interests of two nuclear armed neighbours. While lauding the Pakistan to observe the Kashmir Solidarity day in support of  Kashmiris, who are engaged in the struggle for right to self determination from past many decades, the participants highly valued the Pakistan’s support and expressed the hope that the country would continue to lend support to Kashmir cause on moral, political and diplomatic level till Kashmir issue is solved according to the wishes and aspirations  of  Kashmiris.
Terming the Pakistan’s political and diplomatic support for the Kashmir cause as extremely important, the participants stated on this crucial juncture, the pro-freedom parties should rise above their political and organizational affiliations, and collectively exhibit a uniformity of approach to make the freedom struggle successful. The participants resolved that the peace and prosperity in south Asia was linked to solution of Kashmir issue.They stressed upon India and Pakistan to take Kashmiris into confidence and start a meaningful dialogue to solve the Kashmir dispute so as to extricate the region out of the insecurity and instability.
Meanwhile A Hurriyat delegation comprising of senior leaders including Javaid Ahmad Mir and Hakim Abdul Rasheed visited the house of pro-freedom leader  Firdous Ahmad Shah in Abi Guzar to condole the death of his mother. Expressing sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family, the delegation  offered special prayers for the deceased.
