SP Sunil Gupta passes away, DGP condoles demise

  19 February 2015,CNS:- Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar has condoled the demise of Sunil Kumar Gupta, Superintendent of Police.
          In his condolence message, the DGP has said that the sudden death of Sunil Gupta has shocked him, which is an irreparable loss to the entire Jammu and Kashmir Police force. He has expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He has described the deceased an epitome of kindness, who was a great professional and thorough gentleman.
          Mr. Rajendra along with senior police officers expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. They also remained present at the cremation.
Sunil Kumar Gupta served the J&K Police department in different capacities. He was promoted as SP (M) in June 2013 and posted at Zonal Police Headquarter (ZPHQ) Jammu. He died at Jammu this morning at the age of 49, apparently due to cardiac arrest.
