Sukhnandan distributes cheques among beneficiaries
Jammu,September 6,2015-CNS:- Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Choudhary Sukhnandan today distributed cheques amounting to Rs 5 lakhs out of Chief Minister’s Relief Fund among persons suffering from chronic diseases at a public meeting held here at Gajansoo in Marh.
While addressing the gathering the Minister reiterated the commitment of the government for the welfare of the people and stressed upon the people to avail the benefits from the state and centrally sponsored schemes being implemented for their upliftment. He said that various social security schemes have been launched for the welfare of the people and efforts are to maximize enrollments in these programmes so that their benefits reach to target population.
Asserting that the Government is making every effort to create a affable atmosphere for ushering the state to an era of peace and prosperity, the Minister said that the developmental tempo would be further accelerated and better amenities will be provided to the people living in all the regions of the State.
