Army organizes medical camp in Sopore

page15-12-300x168 (1)Sopore, March 17, CNS: Army organized a medical camp at Ningli Amarpora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An Army official from 52 Rashtriya Rifles informed CNS that: “The medical camp was conducted with the aim to make available essential medical services to the economically weaker section of the local populace.”

   The camp, he said, stressed on the need for infant and maternal care, hygiene, veterinary cover, Dental checkup and treatment, facilities like ECG and vaccination, free counseling on eye checkup and issues like water born disease and injuries.

  “The medical camp received an overwhelming response by the people and was attended by hundreds of locals of all age groups, who were immensely benefited from the medical aid provided by team of Army and civil doctors,” he added.

   “The camp was attended by the locals of Ningli, Amarpora, Haritar, Tarzoo as well as locals from remote villages of Sopore town. A large number of ladies mostly old were also examined who were in great need of medical help and infant care,” the spokesman said. (CNS)
