Centre of Excellence set up in Jaipur
Srinagar, March 24, CNS: Wadhwani Centre of Excellence for Innovation has been set up at VIT Campus, Jaipur in partnership with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) and Wadhwani Foundation to promote entrepreneurship and innovations among students of several dozen management and engineering schools located in various parts of Rajasthan.
Media head VIT Campus Jaipur, Dhanesh Verma said that the MoU was signed by Shashi Shimala, Executive VP, NEN Wadhwani Foundation, and Er. Gaurav Bagaria, Director, VIT Campus in gracious presence of Atma Ram Ji, Chairman, ARG, Ajay Data, MD, Data Infosys Ltd, Preeti Singh, Network Manager (ICB), NEN and many more.
CoE at VIT Campus will help bring the much needed ecosystem of Mentors, Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists and Support Services needed by budding entrepreneurs to test ideas, tweak business plans and to move pilot projects into scalable businesses.
The centre aims to empower job seekers with ideas, passion and entrepreneurial skills with knowledge and experience of its network to become job creators as they sow the seeds of successful businesses.
A series of programs initially of 3 months have been designed and delivered by the Centre to build knowledge, provide mentoring and open up networking opportunities. Dr. Latika Dhuria faculty member of Vivekananda Global University has been awarded "Emerging Entrepreneurship Award" by Ministry of Entrepreneurship, GOI. (CNS)
