Freedom Party delegation succeeds in reaching Doabgah, Sopore,Reiterates shutdown call on Feb 11
Srinagar,09 February 2015-CNS:-During his house arrest, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCCJK) leader and Democratic Freedom Party Chairman Shabir Ahmad while telephonically talking to family members of Shaheed Muhammad Afzal Guru on the latter’s martyrdom anniversary assured them that the sacrifices of martyrs will not be allowed go waste.
Shah assured them that whole Kashmiri nation and pro-freedom leadership are aware of the greatness and sacrifice of Shaheed Muhammad Afzal Guru which guided thousands of pro-freedom people of the state.
In this connection, a delegation of Freedom Party comprising of Naseer Ahmad Muhammad Ibrahim and Muhammad Amin despite police restrictions today succeeded in reaching Doabgah, Sopore and expressed solidarity with the family members of Shaheed Afzal Guru.
The delegation shared the message of Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) and Freedom Party leaders.
Shabir Ahmad Shah while thanking the people over observing complete shutdown today appealed to observe with same spirit the shutdown on February 11 on the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Bhat.
