Special children celebrate annual sports day

Jammu,19 November 2014(CNS):-Special Children of Asha School participated in the Annual Sports Day Meet with extreme enthusiasm and sportsman spirit at Jammu Cantonment, today. Mrs Usha Singh, Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation of Tiger Division gave away Certificates of Excellence to winners.
Participants were divided into Junior and Senior groups. Mrs Suman Mathur, Principal, Asha School supervised and trained the students in games based on Fun and Learn theme. Running race, Lemon- Spoon race, Set your Block, Puzzle race, Ball in Bucket and musical chair were conducted. The Children of Asha School, despite being intellectually disabled, showed a commendable will to be self- reliant.
