Two killed in Budgam road accident

Budgam, March 20, CNS: Two persons were killed and 48 including 12 females injured when a passenger bus they were travelling in met an accident in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

   Police sources told CNS that a passenger bus (JK026-1677) was on its way to Srinagar from Raithan when the driver lost control near Palpora village and the bus skidded off the road and fell into a gorge.

    Sources added that two passengers died on spot while 48 others were shifted to nearby hospital among which the condition of many are stated to be critical.

   The police identified the duo who died in the accident as Ghulam Hasan Bhat son of Ali Muhammad a resident of Gret Kalan and Manzoor Ahmed Sheikh son of Muhammad Sultan of Hasan Gund Budgam. (CNS)
